Matthews’ Painting Company, LLC was contracted to pressure wash and caulk, then paint our entire house, screened porch (inside and out), secure loose decking and stain our deck. The work was remarkably well done by professionals yielding pleasing results. From Jason’s detailed quotation to the on-site workers, we could not be more pleased. We were consistently kept informed about the details from a start date to phone calls confirming arrival time and notes each evening about plans for the next day. Although there was a team of workers, we came to know our foreman, Ryan, well due to his daily contact with us. I have been very satisfied with the quality of work. The crew spent a lot of time initially being sure the color of stain matched as well as possible to the pre-existing stain. It was obvious they intended to do a very professional job. All the painters have very good customer service skills.

I can’t begin to express how pleased I am with my entire experience with your company. From the initial process (the quote/information/reference folder provided was super) through to the finished project, everyone I interacted with treated me in a courteous, helpful and professional manner. The workmanship provided at each step of the project was of the utmost quality. The young man who did the power washing of my house/deck and the team of painters arrived on their respective mornings on time and went right to work. Any questions I presented were answered promptly and knowledgeably. The work areas were kept neat and tidy, and the work was done quickly and efficiently. The Foreman worked on my painting project the majority of the time, so I interacted the most with him. The man is truly a professional at what he does. It was evident that he had experience and knowledge behind him just by the fact he did everything in such a timely fashion, yet the quality of what he did never suffered. He had his hand in every aspect of the project- prep work, spraying/rolling stain on the siding, trim work and deck staining. Talk about meticulous! Had he been working on his own home, he could not have shown more care about the quality of work he put out than he did on my home. That kind of pride in workmanship is hard to find these days. I’m a Hair Stylist, so through conversation with clients many goods and services are recommended. When I mentioned Matthews’, Painting was doing work for me I often heard They’re so expensive. I always responded ‘Over the years I’ve learned the hard way that it’s better to spend more if you’re getting top quality workmanship by trustworthy people that care about their work. Even D.I.Y. jobs can prove more expensive in terms of your time and frustration level. When judging time/value, even though ours was a small job if 2 or 3 people could have completed it in only one day, it still would have been worth every penny. I wouldn’t have felt ripped off because I don’t look at this in terms on charging by the hour. I will highly recommend Matthews’ in the future as I do with all businesses that have earned my trust and respect.
