Aleena is a middle school student from Leesburg who turned her love of creating into a thriving small business. What began in second grade with handmade soaps for teachers has grown into a full product line of natural body care, home fragrance, and cleaning items—all made by Aleena herself. She sells her products at local markets in Warsaw and Leesburg, as well as through her family’s home—based shop, the Doughlicious Sourdough Shack. Aleena plans to use her Y.E.S. grant to restock inventory, expand her product offerings, and continue growing her business from a small shed on her property. She received the full $1,000 scholarship and will receive continued mentorship and encouragement from the Matthews’ Painting team.
